Every drummer has their favorite sticks. These are mine. Vic Firth American Classic Extreme 5AN – Nylon Tip. After 40 years of using Vic Firth sticks, these have become my go-to choice.
Extra length: I really like the additional reach and leverage they give me.
Durability: In 40 years of playing, I’ve never had a nylon tip come off.
Nylon tip sound: I’ve always preferred nylon tips, especially for getting that bright, crisp “ping” off my Zildjian Rock 21" ride.
Perfect balance for me: I really like the size and weight. They’re not too heavy and not too light for my playing style
